近五年SCI和EI收录武汉工程大学论文的统计分析


0引言科学引文索引(Science Citation Index,以下简称:SCI)和工程索引(The Engineering Index,以下简称:EI)所收录的论文对高校和科研机构的科研发展有着一定的前瞻性和指导意义,论文是否被SCI和EI检索工具所收录,是判断高等学校、科研机构及科技人员学术水平的依据之一.很多高校和科研机构都把SCI和EI检索工具中本单位论文的收录情况作为评估、成果、奖励以及衡量学术价值的重要指标之一.因此,论文入选SCI和EI等已成为众多科技人员、高校及科研机构关注的热点问题[1]. 本研究以SCI和EI为信息源,对20092013年被SCI和EI所收录的武汉工程大学发表的论文,并就如何提高SCI和EI的收录率提出对策和建议,供广大师生及科研人员参考.1SCI和EI收录武汉工程大学论文统计分析SCI和EI偏重于理工学科及工程技术类文献,因此本研究以武汉工程大学化工与制药学院、材料科学与工程学院、理学院、计算机科学与工程学院、机电工程学院、环境与城市建设学院、电气信息学院等7个理工科院系为收集对象,下面分别就各院系20092013年5年来被SCI和EI收录论文的发文量和发文期刊名(出版物)进行统计分析.1.1理工学科院系SCI和EI发文量统计检索20092013年武汉工程大学理工学科院系SCI和EI收录情况,其中化学工程、材料科学等学科优势明显,而机电、环境与城市建设和电气等学科的科研水平有待进一步提高,各院系SCI和EI发文量如表1所示.表1理工学科院系SCI和EI发文量统计表Table 收录数量的策略科技论文被SCI和EI收录的数量及被引次数,已经成为我国衡量高校科研实力及整体排名的重要指标,也反映了作者个人的研究能力与学术水平,因此单位和个人都非常重视科技论文被SCI和EI收录情况,下面对如何提高科技论文被SCI和EI收录数量进行探讨.2.1增强科研实力,提高论文质量高质量的论文产出必须有高水平的科研成果做支撑,武汉工程大学在强化化工和材料等特色学科的同时,充分发挥多学科交叉渗透的优势,扩大科研的广度和深度,在提高实验研究水平的同时加强理论创新研究,增强科研实力,提高论文质量[2].同时,教师也应跟踪学科前沿,探讨学科热点与难点,静下心来做学问,真心实意地做研究.2.2向SCI和EI源期刊投稿引导和鼓励教师向国内外的SCI和EI源期刊投稿,将会大大提高SCI和EI的收录率.SCI和EI收录的论文以期刊文献为主,而且有较稳定的源期刊群.SCI和EI收录论文的前提是刊载论文的期刊为SCI和EI来源期刊,即只有发表在SCI和EI源期刊上的论文才有可能被SCI和EI收录.因此科研人员必须了解世界权威检索工具的源期刊情况.笔者正是从武汉工程大学科技论文被SCI和EI收录的发文期刊这一点进行统计分析的,文中分析的各学院SCI和EI发文期刊名(出版物)统计可供我校教师参考. 2.3提高英文的写作水平要撰写高水平英文论文,首先要大量研读SCI和EI期刊文献,尤其是影响因子大于5的由英语国家的研究人员撰写的科技论文.在阅读时,要用英语思考,不必把英文翻译成中文.建议留意这些论文的句法结构、写作格式及表述方式等,并按照这些论文的写作风格直接动手用英文撰写,不要先写中文再译成英文,要不然写出来的文章有可能是中国式英文[3].用英文写作并向英美等国家期刊投稿,将会提高论文的收录率.摘要写作的好坏是直接影响论文是否被SCI和EI收录的重要因素之一,因为SCI和EI有关技术专家对论文的筛选首先是仔细阅读其英文摘要.EI网站(http://www.ei.org.cn/doca/yq.doc)对英文摘要的要求做了详细的说明,并有一些例题供科研人员参考[4].2.4加强国内外学术交流与合作学校应建立与国内外其他高校和科研机构的协作机制,鼓励教师加强国内外交流与合作,在合作中拓宽教师的科研视角,学习他们的先进方法和理念,从而快速提高自身的科研能力和水平,促进学校的整体科研水平,扩大学校学术声誉和影响力.3结语从我校教师的发文期刊名(出版物)统计分析结果中可大致了解近5年来我校各学科论文被SCI和EI收录的期刊分布,为其他教师在发表论文选择期刊时提供一定的帮助.另外,从统计分析结果可以看出,武汉工程大学各学科的论文产出量不平衡,化学工程、材料科学等学科优势明显,机电、电气、环境与城市建设、计算机等其它学科的科研水平有待进一步提高.针对这些相对薄弱学科,学校须加大引进高水平人才力度,建立高水平学术团队,同时也应加强国内外交流与合作,提高自身的科研能力和水平.致谢感谢武汉工程大学图书馆提供的支持!
