摘要:
针对二钛酸钡仅在一窄小的温度区间热力学稳定,其单晶制备比较困难的问题,首次利用助熔剂法生长二钛酸钡单晶.以合成的二钛酸钡粉末为前躯体,以偏硼酸钡为助熔剂,以少量氧化硼为相稳定剂,二钛酸钡和偏硼酸钡的摩尔比为2∶3,二钛酸钡和氧化硼的摩尔比为1∶0.25,泡料温度为1 180 ℃,降温速率为3.3 ℃/h.温度降至1 080 ℃时,终止温度程序,使其自然降至室温.成功地生长出了二钛酸钡单晶,晶体尺寸大约为2.5 mm×0.3 mm×0.3 mm.
Abstract:
To overcome the difficulty of growing barium dititanate single crystals due to the narrow temperature range for its thermodynamic stability,we tried and successfully synthesized barium dititanate single crystals by a flux method for the first time. We used barium dititanate powders as precursors,barium metaborate as flux and boron oxide as additives to stabilize the barium dititanate phase.The molar ratio of barium dititanium to barium borate was 2∶3,and the molar ratio of barium dititanium to boric oxide was 1∶0.25;the soaking temperature was 1 180 ℃; the crystal growth stopped after the temperature decreased slowly to 1 080 ℃ with a cooling rate 3.3 ℃/h.The crystals of 2.5 mm×0.3 mm×0.3 mm in size were obtained.
